Following instructions muttered to her by her aunt and uncle, Elizabeth Marie Malfoy ran towards the barrier and came through on the other side. Finally, she was seeing it for the first time. Keeping a straight face as if she had done this a million times, she casually walked towards the train and her aunt and uncle followed closely behind. It was packed with people even though they were slightly early. "Good luck, Elle," her aunt muttered to her, giving her a tight squeeze and her uncle patted her on the shoulder and gave her an encouraging nod. She didn't need either. She was ready to take on whatever this adventure threw at her.
((I'll bring in my other character but I want the first years to be kind of first. I want to wait for Dylan to post his character.))

Jessy smiled as she went through the barrier. Her mother went with her. Jessy hugged her mom. "bye mom. I'll write to you." she said. Jessy let her mom go then headed to the train. She was nervous but her face showed more curiosity then nervousness.

Ash emerged gracefully from the fireplace. He loved the feeling of traveling through the floo network. It was always so warm and exhilerating. He was very excited to go to Hogwarts, his parents had told him all about it. He had said goodbye to his father earlier in the day before he left for work, only his mother was coming with him to the train station. Ash spent half a minute in anxious solitude as he waited for his mother to follow after him.
Dylan grabbed his sister Taylor's hand and began to jump up and down, laughing in excitement. Their family lived in an all muggle community and were very mugglish. They had therefore driven to King's Cross station. Dylan began squeeling at the top of his lungs. He was extremely excited. Dylan dropped his sister's hands and ran forward to squeeze her so tightly that she could barely breathe.

Taylor pulled his arms gently off of her. "Calm down, Dylan," she said, laughing a little. ((where are they? have they passed the barrier yet?))
Elle walked onto the train and got an empty compartment. ((make Jessy go into Elle's))

Jessy stopped at the compartment Elle was in. "Mind if I sit with you?" She asked.

((oh, sorry, no. Their still on the muggle side)) "Oh my Jesus! This is exciting!" Dylan exclaimed, he waved around a pretend wand "I'm going to be all- alla kazam! Uba duba! And things are going to happen and then I'll be all cool and magical and then.. Oh my Rowling! I'm going to blow up! This is so friggin' crazy! Ha ha ha," Dylan began jumping around like a crazy little eleven-year-old boy who had lots of surgar for breakfast.
Ash watched as his mother came through the fireplace. She walked up and into the train and made sure that he was able to find a compartment. She helped him store his luggage before reminded him of how to take special care of his pet fire salamander. Then she wished him a goodbye, gave him a hug, and left.

Jessy nodded. "yeah. WHat about you?" she asked as she sat in the seat across from her.

Taylor kept smiling but was looking around to see if anyone was staring. Some were but they just figured he was an over excited kid. Which he was. "Shh, come on." she motioned for him to lead the way to Platform 9 3/4 which was in site now.
Elle nodded. "Yup. First time..."

"Okay! Okay! So how do we do it?" Dylan asked, bounding forward.
Tom arrived with his dad. They walked together, past a few weird families obviously going to hogwarts, including one with an over excited little boy. Tom hugged his father and said good bye, then turned and walked through the solid barrier. His father made sure that he was able to cross over to the platform, and then left.

"Elle," she replied returning a small smile. She wanted to be able to talk to this girl, but didn't know how to say anything without giving away how little she really knew about the school. She hadn't asked her aunt and uncle too many questions, though she did know how they did the sorting, that was about it.
"We're going to run through a wall," Taylor told her little brother. "That one." She pointed to the barrier between 9 and 10.

"BYE BROTHER!" Britt yelled as she ran across the platform from where she appeared with her brother. Side-along apparition, gotta love it.
Richelle fell out of the Floo Network and quickly stood up, brushing ash from her robes. "Better than apparating."
Ian decided to walk through the muggle-born way. He never really saw the why people liked walking through walls. Do they like ghosts? and he got stuck waiting behind what appeared to be siblings, the girl teaching the boy how to cross.

"I'm Jessy." Jessy said giving her a smile. She also knew very little of school or even magic since her parents thought it was best for her to grow up in the muggle world. "Are you excited?" JEssy asked.

"Oh my Rowling! Do I just run through it?" then without waiting for an answer, Dylan ran forward, but stopped and squeeled right infront of the wall. He looked both ways and then poked the wall with his finger, it sunk right through. Dylan gave a really dorky laugh, and then walked through the wall.
Ash made sure that the fire had not gone out in his specially designed salamander cage.
Tom walked around the platform looking for one of his fifth year friends to sit with.
((We're all either first or fifth years, right?))
