Dylan waved good bye to his father who had driven him here in his minivan. He walked into the camp, taking a deep breathe of the fresh air. It was good to be back.
Ash watched as more and more people made their way into the camp. It really annoyed him. He had so enjoyed the peace and quiet of the school year.

Auburn walked through the gates hugging her arms to herself. "Why is it so cold?" she mumbled to herself, looking around. It was somewhat noisey for her taste.

Elle hung out and practiced archery while new-comers came.
Muerte sat in the car, not wanting to get out. She turned to her mother and gave her a pleading look. "You'll do fine," she told her in Spanish. Not believing her, Muerte hugged her mother before getting out of the car. She waved and walked into camp. It was actually very lucky that her mother had been able to drop her off without too much trouble with monsters and such. Muerte was just getting used to the fact that all of this was real.

With a sour look upon his face, Ash decided to return to his cabin, passing by the archery range on his way.
Dylan walked by Auburn and Muerte. "Hello, you two don't look familiar. Is this your first summer?" he asked.

"Yeah." Auburn said simply. "My name's Auburn, you?"

Muerte didn't look up at the boy who was talking to them. "Muerte," she said in her soft voice, hoping they didn't know what her name meant.
Elle saw Ash passing by and turned to him. She didn't get along with any of the Ares's kids, so feeling bored, she turned an arrow on him and had it pass by his head, slightly touch is hair, as entertainment for herself.

"I'm Dylan," Dylan said. "so, do you guys know who your parent is?"
Ash whizzed around as the arrow past through his spikey black hair. "whoa! What the fuck! Are you trying to fucking kill me you fucking retard?" Ash stormed over to Elle. "watch wher you're fucking shooting your fucking arrows."
((sorry for the language))

((wowzerz that was a lot of f-bombs. lol!))
Muerte preferred not to answer, so she shrugged instead.
"Oh my gosh! Did that almost hit you?! I'm sooooo sorry!" Elle said her voice dripping in sarcasm with a sweet smile on her face. "It'll never happen again, I promise!" Next time I'll actually hit you, she finished in her head with disgust.

Ash was completely furious. He took his forearm and thrust it horizontally against her chest, pinning her against a near by tree. "It better not fucking happen again, or I'll cleave your head off with my axe." Ash prefered to fight with his double sided celestial bronze great axe. However he wasn't allowed to use it against other camp members, because it was too big and scary and everyone uses swords and arrows and it wouldn't be fair to use.

"uhm... Haphaestus." Auburn said, nervously. Ironically, she was afraid of fire.

Getting over the wind being knocked out of her fairly quickly because of her nice faster healing powers from Apollo she glared at him. "Please. Give me one good reason to fight you back," she said quietly. "Actually....on second thought it doesn't even have to be good." She kicked him away from her and pulled out her bow and arrow.

"Woah! Don't you fucking-" Ash started. But just at that moment a group of three kids walked right by the archery range.
"This is the archery range. Elle here is about the best shot I've ever seen," Dylan explained to the new kids. "Speaking of which, it looks as if she is about to.... um... well - Elle, what are you doing?"

Elle realized that she could get into a lot of trouble even if it was Ash's fault. "Absolutely nothing. Just finishing up here," she said to Dylan, still glaring at Ash. She put her bow and arrows back and walked over to the two new girls. "Either of you interested in archery?" she asked them.

"Kinda, but I also like shiny things, so I'm stuck between swords and archery..." Auburn replied.

"Archery would be the way to go. Much safer, and much harder to defend. Also, you can stand far back and get a good lay of the land. It's very easy to get a good grasp of the scene and come up with a strategic plan to win the battle if you're not directly inside it." Dylan explained.
"You're all a bunch of fucking sissies," Ash said before turning to go back to his cabin.
