James made it to the bottom of the stairs and stepped into the spacious round common room. He walked forward as if he owned the whole place and approached Peter who was talking eagerly with a girl.

Sirius was beside James being much the same. they really were two peas in a pod.

Amber smiled as she saw James. Well she saw Sirius too. He was within her peripheral vision. But she didn't care so she saw James.

And then Harry is never birthed, and Neville has to deal with all the problems, and then he dies because he's not as courageous and stupid as Harry, and then he dies, and then Voldy wins and it's just wrong.)) James pushed the back of the portrait of the fat lady so that it swung wide. He stepped through the hole, and offered assistance to Lily. |
