James smiled broadly. Lily was in love with him. He was sure of it now. She was just too proud to admit it. He tried to initiate a hug, but Lily was already walking away. So James just tailed after her.

((I feel like making Gilderoy Lockhart. I think he would go to school around the same time as them. What house was he in? I think he seems like a Slytherin. But it might be better if he was Gryffindor?))
James took a seat right next to Lily. Delicately he scooped food onto his plate.

Lily never ate a big breakfast, so she just grabbed a roll and ate it by itself. She looked up to see if their head of house would be coming by with schedules yet. She was eager to see which classes she had with Severus.

Severus was at the slytherin table with his 'friends' he looked up and saw lily. He waved at her.
Sirus was eatting a lot and amber just poked at her food not wanting to look like a pig in front of james.

Not wanting to look like a pig in front of Lily, James slowly and politely ate his food -- rather then scarfing it down like a deranged Hyena like usual.

Lily grinned at Severus and waved back, before going back to her bread. She looked at Amber, curiously. "Aren't you hungry? You always eat breakfast!" she said, surprised that Amber wasn't eating more. She had also noticed James not stuffing his face, but chose to ignore this.

Lily laughed at Sirius's comment and took a bite of her roll to cover it up. "Well, I was going to go meet Sev and walk around by the lake for a bit after breakfast before our first class. Wanna come?" she asked Amber. |

James smiled falsely, "Wait. Wait, wait. What?" His smile turned to a look of disgust, "You're going to walk around the lake with Snivellus? Why would anyone in their right mind want to walk with that slime ball? How 'bout you and me take a little walk instead. You know I'm twice the guy Snape will ever be."

James was unable to control himself. He burst into laughter. "Severus? No, no ,no. I think you're mistaken. I think you will find that am significantly better than Severus."
Just at that moment, Gilderoy skipped along beside the Gryffindor table. Half the girls in the great hall were watching as his dazzling golden locks bounced as he moved.
