Gotcha. We're on the linear system, not the semester system. Do your classes switch half way through the year? The schools around here on the semester system switch half way. They have four classes during the first half and a different set of courses during the second half.
We have the same eight courses all throughout the year, and it's just divided into terms, first term, second term, and third term. First term is the fall, second term is the winter, and third term is the spring. They're seperated by winter break and spring break. We get a report card at the end of the term and then our final mark is avereaged by our first, second and third term as well as our final exam. Normally the weighting is 26, 27,27, 20... but in some subjects it's 25,25,25,25.

classes switch at semester but only one semester classes. some classes are 2 semesters like math, english, history, science, orchestra, drama, and that stuff and then others are one semester like pe, photojournalism, and some others that i don't know of. my classes are all 2 semseter classes though so my schedule won't change.

Ooooh, kay.... fun. PE is a one semester class? That's cool. I hate PE... we have to do it allll year loooong and it's not fun.... So does that mean that if you take only one one semester class you get a spare for the other half of the year? In grade eight Art turned into Drama at the half way point and Info Tech turned into home ec.

Freshmen/soph. pe is torture. The couchs are rough and often expect us to sprint 2-3 miles. No walking
Junior/Senior pe is fun. We play games or go into the wieght room. and the games are better because the other kids get involved.

i liked middle school pe. i was into all the games and had fun. when i got to freshmen year i didn't do ANYTHING. freshmen year they expected you to work hard and stuff and it was uber lame. we had to learn a lot. sophomore year was fairly easy but ten times more boring. we played matt ball almost every day which used to be fun but it's not when you play it every. single. day. the only game i participated in last year was tennis =D i like tennis.

Lol, I'm sorry but that's so funny.... the couchs expect you to sprint 2-3 miles..... silly pieces of furniture. Okay, but no. That sucks. Are you sure they don't expect you to run? Sprinting is sort of something you should only be able to do for a minute.... you can't sprint 4km in a minute.... But you could probably run/jog 4km if you have good indurance.
We have PE until next year, and then I don't have to take it anymore. It's going to be so great!

It's like kickball and baseball together. You kick the ball and run the bases. There are 6 bases and you have to go around twice to get a point.

we only use four bases. you can have multiple people on one matt/base. there's not really a home plate for us it's just four bases in each corner and you kick and then run to 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 and then you get a point.
