Ashley returned to her chair, put Tony in his cage, and looked at the clock. There were about five minutes left in class- not nearly enough time for her to finish her potion, so she decided to just stir up what she had and put that in a flask. Potions had never been her best subject, anyway...

"Nah! Nah!" James flapped his arms around wildly. "I feel goo. I dun feel anythurb."
James brought his legs up onto his chair and began scratching his knees ferociously with his engorged teeth.

Sirius got up. "Come on James. i'm sure they'll give you plenty to chew on in the hospital wing." Sirius said.

Professor Slughorn returned to the classroom with the intent of examining the potions before the end of class. However, it didn't look as if anyone had made it even close to half way through the recipe. What Slughorn saw instead was atrocious. He gasped loudly.
"Who is responsible for this mess?"
James laughed and pointed at Slughorn. "Ha!"

Sirius pointed at the mess which was Severus and severus pointed at Jame's and Sirius.

Remus put the finishing touches on his potion, and looked up, once again, at James. He was being very squirmy, and wouldn't let Sirius anywhere near him.
"Petrificus Totalus." Remus said. James straightened up and froze. "Here, Sirius. We'll carry him together." Remus grabbed James' upper body.

"Oh my goodness. You three," Slughorn said pointing out Severus, James, and Sirius, "I want to see you in my office today at 3:15." He took a closer look at James, "What's wrong with him?"

James remained rigid.
Peter who was very quiet throughout the whole class because he was forgotten about fallowed his two friends up to the hospital wing.
"So, I'm confused," Peter said. "What exactly happened to James? I wasn't paying attention. I saw Severus -- er Snivellus -- hex him, but how did he get all dumb and frozen?"

"Well, I don't know why he became all dumb, but I suspect a Jelly-Brain jinx, probably fired by Snivellus, and I cast a Petrificus Totallus spell when he wouldn't let Sirius near him to take him to the hospital wing." replied Remus.
