((not by much because as far as I'm aware she had Nymphadora at about 16/17, and when they marry Remus is around 38 and Nymphadora 24))

James grabbed one of Professor Slughorn's many port keys, it was an empty salt shaker. "On second thought. Let's leave the heroics to the old people. I want to get to school."

Lily put a finger on the salt shaker, not liking the idea of leaving everyone, not knowing if they're ok or not.

Professor Slughorn looked slightly taken aback that James had called him an old person, but shrugged and tapped the salt shaker. It glowed a vivid blue. The next thing James knew, he was standing just outside of the Hogwarts grounds. His friends were just up ahead.
"Well that was fun," James said before spotting his friends. "Hey! Sirius!" he called, waving.

Severus had fallen back from using the pot key.
