Dylan through his arms in anger, "Will you stop bashing me?"
Dylan was going through a really tough time. He desperately wanted to be in Gryffindor with his sister. Now he was stuck being with this bully, and some girl who thought that he was the mean one. The constant rude remarks were really getting to Dylan. You're not smart enough to be a Ravenclaw! I'm plenty smart. He's not very friendly. I'm the nicest guy I know! He's insane. No I'm not!
He bit his lips, he looked like he might be on the verge of tears.

Elle didn't deal with crying people well. Or any other people for that matter. But least of all: apologies. "Ok, ok! I'm done!" she said in a "Jeez!" kinda way.

Dylan took a deep breath. "Good!" he spat.
Then, on a slightly lighter note, he turned towards Cho. He pretended to be happy, and fake a smile. "Hi," he croaked. "I'm Dln."

"Cho, that's an unusual name too." Dylan took Cho's hand and shook it lightly.
Dylan thought to himself. His name wasn't that weird. He'd met other Dylan's before. Maybe he said it stupidly. Ughh.

"Well, my real name's Elizabeth. But I don't like it. So I just go by Elle." She was speaking more than she usually did to new people. This Cho girl seemed alright. And Dylan...just seemed weird.

"Yeah, but that's still neat. I wish my name was longer, so I could shorten it. Right now it could only be Ch and C, and those options aren't very good..." said Cho wistfully, "But I guess "Cho" is short enough, eh?"

Elle merely nodded and the conversation died for a few minutes. Actually *wanting* to keep the conversation going for some reason, she asked, "So what are you? Blood-wise I mean? Pure? Half?" She hated how she sounded, because honestly she was asking simply out of curiosity.
