Dylan raised his hand meekly, "Me too. I'm a pure-blood."

"Same. Not that it matters, but..." With her name being Malfoy, she didn't want them to get the wrong idea.

"Yeah, I don't really see why it matters, either." agreed Cho, "Do you, erm... Deln? Did I say it right?" she said to the boy.

When he didn't respond, Cho turned back to Elle. "So what classes are you looking forward to this year?"

"Oh, no. Sorry. It's Dill in. I'm really looking forward to Charms. My sister told me that first year Charms is a lot of fun. But then Defense Against the Dark Arts is better in the subsequent years." Replied Dylan.

"Oh, neat." said Cho, turning back towards Dylan. "I'm looking forward to learning to fly... I've already done a bit back home, because I want to be a Quidditch player when I'm older, but learning it from a real teacher is gonna be really helpful."

"Oh, like a professional world cup player?" Dylan asked, thinking that that ambition was an impossible one to achieve.

"Yeah. It's my dream to play for the Tornadoes, but making it onto any World Cup team would be amazing." replied Cho.

"Oh yeah, they've been doing really well recently. They just won five years in a row, didn't they? Good luck with that. I have no idea what I would want to do when I grow up." Dylan explained.

"I guess that's why we're taking these classes, then." said Cho, "To hone our abilities, and then to find out what we want to do with them."

Dylan nodded, "Yeah, I guess so. I don't really know what I'm good at yet. I haven't used much magic. So you've done a fair amount of flying already?"

"Yeah, but only a few feet in the air. I'm excited to begin flying at Quidditch-level, so I can play a proper game."

"Are you going to try and join the team next year? Do they normally only let seven people on, or do you know if they let substitutes join as well?" Dylan asked, now more interested in Quidditch.

"I don't know. I'm pretty sure first-years aren't allowed on the team. They're not even allowed they're own brooms! But if I can, I want to try and get on the team while I'm here."

"Oh, yeah. I know. We're not trusted with brooms yet. We need official training. I thought I said next year, though. Are you going to try out for the team next year, when you're a second-year?" Dylan asked.
