((Pssh, the timeline goes with people's interests. When a location seems to be getting boring or no longer progresses the story line we move to something new.))

(!On hon hon hon hon! Yes! I want to say Defence against the Dark arts, but we've already done two core classes. Maybe we should try an elective?))

"Oh that's great! So am I!" Peter said as the bell rang. "I can't remember, did you take it last year?"
Peter started towards the door.
James was out of the hospital wing now. He had only been in there for about ten minutes, but used it as an excuse to skip the entire herbology class. He figured it would be hard to stretch just three childish hexes into something worthy of missing more than one class, so he started to head down to the care of Magical Creatures paddock. That class wasn't so bad.

"Yeah, I took it last year. It was really fun. I love animals." answered Ashley.
Remus and Sirius were heading down to the Magical Creatures paddock, when Remus saw someone. "Hey, Sirius- look. It's James!" he exclaimed.

"Sirius!" James called, not really noticing his other two friends. "How was herbology? Boring I bet? Do you know what I did? I was in the dungeons laying traps for Snivellus, or well any slytherin who might come across them. I hope Snivellus isn't taking this class this year. You'd think what we did to him last year would have been enough to keep him from coming back."
Peter started to run up to his fellow marauders leaving Ashley alone. He waved meakly at James but didn't say anything.

Ashley looked around for anyone else she might know... There wasn't anyone. It had been the same way when she'd taken this class last year, though- all of her closer friends were taking something "easier".

"Snivellus is so thick. I can't believe he actually thinks he has a chance with my Lilykins. But I hope she's in this class. She can see how brave I am -- or gentle -- depending on what type of animal we're going to be dealing with. And also I'll be able to look at her..." James blushed.
