Sirius was already quite fed up with how boreing the class was and decided to pick on snape. Sirius nudged James to get his attention "Petrificus Totalus" SIrius whisphered as he waved his wand under the table. Snape suddenly stiffened and fell off his seat.
(THERE! I DID SOMETHING!)

((Ooh! Yay! How exciting! It's even got a little beginning middle and end. It starts with him responding to the situation, it mids be having him cast the spell, and it ends with something happening which could provoke more storyline!))
James watched as Severus fell off his chair. He couldn't help but burst out laughing. He tried his best to stifle it, since the were in the classroom environment and both Lily and a teacher were present. But eventually his laughter overtook him. "Sirius," he giggled, "You can't just hex people in the middle of class."
Slughorn looked confounded. He jumped up and looked at Severus alarmed. "Oh my goodness!" he cried, "Severus, my boy! What's happened to you!" He ran over to the stiffened boy and examined him. Naively, he exclaimed, "He's been poisoned!"
Gilderoy jumped out of his desk heroically, while flipping his golden hair eloquently. "Professor, I know exactly what to do! I am, after all, a sixth year prefect," he said haughtily. Gilderoy began rumaging through his potion stores before producing a small shriveled stone. "Ahah! This is just the thing, everyone get out of my way."
James stopped laughing. These two were being so stupid, wasn't it obvious what had happened? Snape wasn't poisoned he was body bound. A bezoar wouldn't be of any help; in fact, it might choke him.

"Stop it, you *idiot*!" Lily said to Gilderoy. "It's obvious, isn't it? He was hexed," she glared daggers at James, just knowing it was his fault.

Sirius stiffled a laugh. "Whoever would hex someone during class?" Sirius said as if it were perposterous.
Amber's eyes were wide. "is he dead?"
Severus was freaking out but obviously no one could tell.

Lily's glare turned to Sirius when he said this. "Of course he's not dead," she said kneeling next to Severus. "He just needs the counterjinx." She did it. ((Isn't it like Finite something? I have no idea...))

Severus loosened up and got up. he turned to James and Sirius. "You stupid big headed cockroaches!" he yelled.

Lily put both of her hands on his shoulders and tried getting him to sit back down. Her hands shook with anger.

Evangeline got up from her seat and went over to Severus and Lily and pushed her out of the way and out her hands on his shoulders, "Severus...it will be ok. We can get back at them later"

"Excellent work Lily!" Slughorn applauded. "You are a very wise girl. Very wise indeed. Five points to Gryffindor!" Slughorn sat back down in his desk and opened up to page seven of the class textbook.
Gilderoy shrugged, smoothed his hair and walked over to Lily. He glared friendly, but threateningly at Lily, before speaking. "Yes, well, you could always do finite incantatem. I had thought of that first, however it's not always a reliable spell, which is why I was going to do things a bit differently. I see it manged to work this time. But I assure you, I had everything under control, and had you not stepped in your friend would have been just fine. Regardless, I believe a congratulations is in order." Gilderoy shook Lily's hand. "You did very well young lady, very well in deed. Not as well as I would have done mind you.."
James leaned towards Sirius, "Why does she always blame me?"

Sirius shrugged. "I don't know. But look on the bright side. i just petrafied Snivillous in class and Gryffindor ended up getting 5 points." Sirius whisphered looking quite smug and proud about how things turned out.
AMber was staring admirably at Gilderoy thinking about how 'smart' and dreamy he was.
Severus looked at Lily then at Evangeline. he nodded then sat down at his seat again still angry but knowing he couldn't do anything at the moment.

Evangeline brushed past Lily back to her seat and glared at her as if saying "stay away from my best friend"

James laughed and clapped Sirius on the back, "Yeah, I suppose you're right."
Gilderoy turned on his heel and took his seat again. Opening his potion kit again, he deposited the bezoar. Then, he opened his text book and got ready to re-relearn first year potions.
Peter smiled broadly. Gryffindor got house points and things got chaotically funny. Yay!
Slughorn read through page seven. When he finally got to the bottom he looked back up at the class to find that none of them had read along. He grimaced.
"Alright everyone, who can tell me what the definition of a potion is?" Professor Slughorn asked.

Evangeline raised her hand and answered "A potion is is a consumable medicine or poison. It is usually made by a magician, sorcerer, dragon, fairy or witch and has magical properties. It might be used to heal, bewitch or poison people." She turned to Lily and smiled smugly
